About Nile

Nile Brown loves to learn about people and the world through meaningful interactions. As a Journalism major and a Film, TV, and Media Studies minor from Loyola Marymount University, he is always learning about the realities of the human condition on and off-screen—something he captures through a plethora of mediums.

Originally from Sacramento, California, Nile grew up in one of the most diverse cities in the world and it’s something that is truly important to him. Moments like Tyler, the Creator playing on a Parisian runway or representation on screen in Black Panther, severely impact him. Moments like these are crucial to connecting with people. They establish intimate relationships that are built through a shared connection, creating some of the best work and even viral moments. He hopes to help create these moments of representation by using influence to portray authentic lifestyles.

Through various mediums and skills, he does this. Photography, journalism, editorial, and podcasting are just some of the fields he’s well versed in. As a Publicity Intern for Fox Entertainment and Host of Moods Radio, he has experience in the entertainment industry and hosting intriguing conversations about hip hop culture to social justice issues. He recognizes that he has a lot to learn still, but he is a quick learner and is very passionate about the work he involves himself in.
